The Sanford International Film Festival hopes to turn a writer's vision into a completed short film (less than 30 pages) to screen at SIFF2020. Here are this year's selections:

Derrick and Boyd

Kingdom of Liars
by William Rogers (United States)
Louis Wagner is the last man to be executed in the State of Maine for the murder of 2 woman, rowing 20 miles in a single night. But is it all too convenient and where lies the truth?

Shakespeare's Pen
by Philip Snyder (United States)
A tale about a writer who suffers from writer’s block and the Faustian bargain he makes to cure it.

The Shipyard
by Will Berry (United States)
A college student returns home to find herself sorting through more than dirty laundry.

Teaching The Next Generation
by Manley Irish (United States)
A young girl get valuable instruction from her mother.

The winning script will be revealed at the Tommy Awards ceremony and then read aloud by audience volunteers!
